To the Home Page of Be More Than a Bystander, a groundbreaking partnership between the BC Lions and EVA BC aimed at substantially increasing awareness and understanding about the impact of men's violence against women.
This 2-year initiative will see sports icons from the BC Lions use their status and public profile to create awareness about violence against women in BC and urge everyone to “Break the Silence on Violence Against Women”.
The Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Public Works and Government Services and Minister for Status of Women, annouces Government of Canada funding for the Be More Than a Bystander initiative at our July 7, 2011 launch.

Advisory Group
