World Suicide Prevention Day

Basic EMDR Training
Duncan

  • Session 1: June 12-14
  • Session 2: September 11-13

Participants will learn to apply Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) appropriately and effectively using the new curriculum mandated by the EMDR International Association. You must have a minimum Masters level training in a mental health discipline and belong to a professional organization with a code of ethics, or be a graduate student with appropriate supervision. White Tiger's First Annual Conference on Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault

Aboriginal Women's Justice Conference

Engaging and Empowering Aboriginal Youth: Vancouver Symposium

Satir Transformational Systematic Therapy Training
September 30 - October 7, 9am-5pm & 7-10pm

Summit Community Services and the Satir Institute of the Pacific are offering an 8-day intensive version of the Level 1 Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy Training. Program leader: Anne Morrison (MSW, RSW, RMFT). Cost: $900–1,000, depending on interest and registration. Registration deadline is June 15. Settlement Worker Training Workshop

The 16 Steps

The 16-step program seeks to build self esteem and a sense of personal empowerment. It approaches healing from trauma, addiction and/or oppression from a place of love and compassion. Women Healing Childhood Sexual Abuse

Are you a woman survivor of childhood sexual abuse? Does the abuse still affect your life? This group will help you: understand the abuse was not your fault, learn to set healthy boundaries, gain confidence and self-acceptance, learn about healthy intimacy and sexuality, discover healthy ways to express your anger, and take back your life and be free.
