Annual Training Forum & AGM 2009
Addressing Violence Against Women and Children in Good Times and Bad
On November 19-20, 2009, frontline anti-violence workers from across BC will gather for EVA BC's annual training forum. This year's theme is preparing for events that put women and children at increased risk of violence—everything from the economic downturn and natural disasters to music festivals and the 2010 Olympic Games. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss the best ways to mitigate the impact of these events and ensure uninterrupted service to women and children in their communities.
Registration Deadline extended to October 30, 2009.
EVA BC members are invited to stay on for the Annual General Meeting, to be held at the same venue on November 21, 2009.
