Working to End Violence

Welcome to the website of the Ending Violence Association of British Columbia (EVA BC), a resource for community-based services that support survivors of sexual assault, relationship violence, child abuse and criminal harassment. We provide:

  • A vital network for over 200 programs across BC: Community-Based Victim Assistance Programs, Stopping the Violence Counselling and Outreach programs, and Sexual Assault/Woman Assault Centres
  • Essential links between these programs and government, policy makers, legislators and other provincial organizations

Our services include:

  • Toll-free support, debriefing and information to programs
  • Regional support conference calls
  • Monitoring and mitigation of issues
  • Newsletter—three issues per year
  • This website
  • Listservs—one for each of four anti-violence sectors
  • Assistance to government
  • Education of other relevant sectors
  • Training
  • Resource development
