Membership Benefits

Membership Eligibility

  • Full membership is available to the following provincially funded programs:
    • Community-Based Victim Assistance Programs
    • Stopping The Violence Counselling Programs
    • Stopping the Violence Outreach Programs
    • Sexual Assault Centres
  • Other similar programs, or programs that are part of the integrated services of a member program, may also be eligible for membership. Please contact the Association if you are unsure about your agency's eligibility.
  • Membership is not available to combined Community/Police-Based Victim Assistance programs.
  • Eligible programs within the same agency are treated as a single member ("member group").

Membership Fee

  • Membership fees range from $80 to $180, depending on ability to pay.

Supporters

  • Individuals and corporations from the community that are interested in supporting the goals, aims and programs of the Society through financial assistance, goods or services are called supporters of the Society.
  • Supporters do not attend meetings and do not have voting privileges.

  • If your agency is not eligible for full membership, we encourage you to subscribe to our newsletter for $25 per year. Please contact us.
